Meet your Instructor

Robbie Ryan

Hi, I'm Dr. Robert T. Ryan—a passionate educator, a doctor of electronic engineering in power electronics, a published IEEE author, an inventor on multiple patents (US20220286127A1, US11855524B2), former lecturer at University College Cork (UCC, Ireland) and a seasoned professional engineer with over 8 years industry experience primarily in electronic design. My mission is simple: to help you maximize your potential by bridging the gap between theory and real-world application. I believe that education should empower you to achieve tangible results, and I design my courses with that goal in mind. With a PhD in Electronic Engineering and years of hands-on experience, I've worked across a wide range of industries—from power-supply design to medical-device development to automotive electronics. I've worked on multiple product developments of now released products, developing innovative technological solutions. But beyond my technical background, I'm genuinely passionate about teaching. I want to make complex topics accessible and practical. My courses are designed to provide practical knowledge, giving you the skills needed to excel in your career and solve real-world problems effectively. My experience as a university lecturer has taught me that true learning comes from applying concepts in practical ways. That’s why in each of my courses, I strive to create a hands-on learning environment that empowers you to confidently apply what you learn, not just understand it theoretically. Join me in one of my courses, and let’s work together to unlock your full potential—whether you're an aspiring engineer, a professional seeking to enhance your skills, or simply curious to learn something new. I’m here to help you succeed
